How does separation anxiety training work?
All separation anxiety training is done virtually. There is no need for the trainer to be physically present. Training sessions will be held through Zoom or another online meeting platform.
What equipment do I need for our sessions?
Any laptop, smart phone, tablet, or webcam will do. You’ll also want a strong internet connection.
What if we have assessment and it turns out my dog doesn’t have separation anxiety?
Don’t worry, we would still love to work with you! We can talk about the observations made during the assessment and offer alternative training plans.
How long does it take to treat separation anxiety?
It is hard to say. Every dog is different and there are many factors that can affect results. Some variables are the dog’s genetics, prior experience with being left alone, who is leaving, and so on. The most important factor with separation anxiety training is training consistency and management of absences.
